This compilation of short stories donated by countless authors privileged enough to know him and all him a friend all in some way incorporate a character who share’s P.G. Holyfield’s namesake. They span across multiple genres, styles, and settings. Further the anthology includes pieces of Mr. Holyfield’s own writings, as well as a handful of non fiction essays and tributes.
“From the Ashes” is P.C. Haring’s contribution to this anthology and tells the origin story of Agent Chen Min-Weh. Set years before the events of Cybrosis, Chen is a mid-level analyst for the CNSCP assigned to accompany a field team of commandos led by Sgt. Major. Holyfield. Their mission- stop a terrorist organization from bringing down the global communications network. However when things go sideways, Chen’s own lack of self confidence and experience becomes her worst enemy. With the body count piling up and time running out, Chen must put her doubts aside, and work with Holyfield to finish the mission, no matter the cost…
